If a book you want to read is already checked out, place a hold on it to be the next in line to check it out! When the book is returned, we will notify you and hold it for you at the Information Desk for one week.

To place a hold, look the item up in Quick Search and click on the title. Then, on the right-hand side, click the Place Hold (Springfield Campus Only) button in the "Access Options" panel. Select the appropriate options and submit the request.

If you are a remote student, you will be best served by requesting the item through interlibrary loan.

If the book won't be due for a long time, you can submit an interlibrary loan request instead.

Materials that have been placed on hold cannot be renewed.
