The steps to clear your cache and cookies will depend on the browser you are using. 


Chrome

  • Click on the button with three vertical dots in the top right corner 
  • Click "Delete Browsing Data" (it has a trash bin icon)
  • Check the "Cache" box
  • Check the "Cookies" box
  • Click the "Delete Data" button. Your cache and cookies will have been cleared.

Note: If you select the "Browsing History" or "Downloads" checkboxes, you will lose all of the history of websites you've visited as well as a list of your downloaded items.

Firefox

  • Click the three lines button in the upper-right corner
  • Click "Settings"
  • Click on "Privacy & Security" in the left-hand menu
  • Scroll down to the "Cookies and Site Data" section
  • Click the "Clear Data" button
  • Check off the "Cookies and Site Data" box
  • Check off the "Cached Web Content" box
  • Click the "Clear" button. Your cache and cookies will have been cleared.

Note: If you select the "History" checkbox, you will lose all of the history of websites you've visited. 

Edge

  • Click the three dots menu in the upper-right corner
  • Click "Settings"
  • Click "Privacy, search, and services"" in the left-hand menu
  • Scroll to the "Clear Browsing Data" section
  • Click the "Choose What to Clear" button
  • Click the "Cookies and other site data" checkbox
  • Click the "Cached images and files" checkbox
  • Click the "Clear Now" button. Your cache and cookies will have been cleared

Note: If you select the "Browsing History" checkbox, you will lose all of the history of websites you've visited. 

Safari

Delete Safari's Browser cache through a keyboard shortcut: 

  • Press [CMD] + [ALT] + [E]

Clearing the cache through the developer menu:

  • Select the first item "Safari" in the main menu and from the drop-down the item "Preferences..."
  • A popup opens. Click on the tab "Advanced" 
  • Check the option "Show Develop menu in menu bar" at the bottom. Now you should see a new menu item in the main menu named "Develop" 
  • If you click on the menu item "Develop" you can select "Empty Caches" from the submenu items 
  • Reload the site and your cache will be cleared
