Q. How do I move my files from Mendeley to Zotero?

Exporting your library from Mendeley desktop:

1. Highlight the references you wish to export.
2. Go to File and click Export.
3. Highlight the references you wish to export.
4. Select the RIS format for the exported file.
5. Click Save.

You will need to do this from the desktop program, not the web interface.

Importing your library into Zotero:

1. Install the Zotero desktop program.
2. Go to File -> Import -> Select your RIS file from Mendeley and open it in Zotero.
