Most library resources will require a permanent link (permalink) to be added to your classroom. This link provides the authentication that the library needs to pass you through to a resource from off-campus. Permalinks can be found in different locations dependant on the resource.

Watch this video for a short overview of what to look for when preparing your Brightspace course.

Some library vendors are already integrated into Brightspace under the "Get Stuff" or "External Learning" tools. These do not need to have a permalink added as the tool will provide that for you when you use it.

We have also put together a resource guide, Putting Library Resources Online, that will guide you through this process for individual library vendors that do require permalinks.
